Dre returned to Austin a changed man from last year's SXSW events. Strong, healthy and sober, he ripped through killer sets at YardDog and The Continental, with standing-room only crowds and folks turned away at the doors. The film is playing Friday night for NoisePop in SF. Tricia and Eric will be there. Dre played some great shows out here last week - Slims in SF and Dragonfly in LA were outstanding. The Man is kickin' ass.

He sat in again with The Sadies at Schuba’s in Chicago, this time for three songs that by all accounts were crisp and vibrant numbers.
